Change of Training Time for SATURDAY 27TH MARCH only On Saturday 27th only, training will commence at 12.45pm. This is due to a water polo meet commencing at 2pm that day. Training tomorrow Saturday 20th March is at the usual time of 3.45pm. And there will be no Endurance swimming at Nerang this Sunday due to the Palm Beach Meet! Palm Beach Meet Good luck to all our swimmers competing at Palm Beach on Sunday! Make a statement: wear your blue COVID T-shirt! You will probably already have all the information you need, but just in case you haven’t swum in a meet before, here are a few details: Warm up commences at 12.00 noon (First Event at 12.30) Two lanes will remain open for warm up and warm down all afternoon. Look for our Miami tent and bring a folding chair! There are some rules that you should be aware of – as any breach will result in disqualification! Go to the MSA website on rules and policies https://mastersswimming.org.au/rules-and-policies/ and read MSA Competition Rules – both the Swimming rules (important ones begin on page 9) and also ‘Swimwear rules’. You don’t want to be disqualified for wearing a watch – however ‘smart’ it is! Now, because we are so enthusiastic (with 29 entrants) we have the honour of Timekeeping on two lanes throughout the afternoon! So, if you have a break between swims, please offer your services at Lanes 0 and 1! It’s quite simple and they’ll give you a quick lesson. If anyone missed out on getting their entry in, you can come along to watch (free entry) and you can also help with timekeeping!
